Terms & Conditions
Effective from date of first purchase
Please read the following Terms and Rules of Membership (hereafter referred to as "Terms") carefully. By completing registration for and participating in the Flexibility Research Forum (hereafter referred to as the “Forum”), you acknowledge and accept an obligation to comply fully with all Terms as stated within this document.
The owners and appointed moderators of the Forum retain the absolute authority to amend or revise these Terms at their discretion, at any moment, for reasons they need not disclose, and without seeking or securing the prior awareness or approval of its members.
The principal objective of the Forum is to bring together individuals of diverse origins for the cordial exchange of information and knowledge pertaining to the sciences of human movement.
The owners and appointed moderators of the Forum retain full discretion to limit or revoke any member’s access and related privileges at any moment, without prior notification. This may include, though is not limited to, the following:
- Withdrawing a member’s capacity to access categories, initiate discussions, respond to existing threads, upload or view attachments, read content within topics, and observe contributions made by others.
- Restricting a member’s facility to send messages to fellow participants within the Forum.
- Revoking a member’s permission to alter any or all elements of their personal profile.
- Rescinding any additional rights or forms of access not explicitly specified in this statement.
- Altering, relocating, or deleting, either partially or entirely, any material submitted by a member.
The owners and appointed moderators of the Forum acknowledge each individual’s entitlement to freedom of expression, as outlined in Article 10 of the Human Rights Act 1998. This entitlement encompasses the freedom to hold personal views, and to seek, receive, and communicate information and ideas without interference from public authorities and without regard to national boundaries. Nevertheless, the expression of such freedoms within the Forum shall be governed by the conditions, limitations, and sanctions set forth in these Terms, as well as any others the owners and/or moderators deem necessary. The application of these measures shall proceed impartially and without exception.
Membership of the Forum, and any access thereto, does not confer upon individuals an unconditional right to express themselves without the possibility of administrative response by the owners and/or moderators. The owners and/or moderators retain full authority to relocate, modify, limit access to, or remove any material that contravenes these Terms and Rules, or that conflicts with the fundamental principles and intended purpose of the Forum, including but not limited to the following:
Â
- Material which, whether by design or by accident, provokes hostility among members or external parties is discouraged.
- Submissions containing inappropriate or offensive elements, or directing individuals to external locations containing such material, shall not be permitted. This includes, though is not limited to, the use of profanity, depictions of nudity, acts of harassment, expressions of hate, or any form of communication that could be interpreted as sexist, racist, ableist, threatening, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable to any collective.
- Messages that encourage individuals to seek further detail through private contact, rather than presenting the information openly within the Forum, are not acceptable.
- Links to external sites must be accompanied by a clear and sufficient explanation of their contents.
- Attribution must be given where ideas or material originate from another source.
- Submissions intended solely to provoke or antagonise (often referred to as “trolling”) are unwelcome.
- This guidance applies also to any content not specifically mentioned but aligned in spirit with the examples above.
Â
All contributions must be in English.
The Forum remains entirely neutral in matters of politics; therefore, political discussion is not allowed.
Members are not permitted to advertise or promote events, products, or services in any part of the Forum, including public topics and private correspondence. Should a member wish to share such content, prior approval must be obtained from the owners or appointed moderators.
The endorsement or dissemination of conspiracy theories or unverified medical practices is strictly forbidden.
The distribution or exchange of copyrighted material is not authorised.
Each member is permitted to maintain only a single account. Should multiple accounts be associated with the same IP address, all such accounts shall be removed, and the individuals responsible will face permanent exclusion from the Forum.
Furthermore, members must not access the accounts of others, irrespective of any permission granted by the original account holder.
All material submitted to the Forum, irrespective of the individual responsible for its submission, shall remain the sole intellectual property of the owners and/or moderators, without exception or condition. No material may be transmitted beyond the Forum by any member without the explicit consent of the owners and/or moderators, and without proper acknowledgement given to the original creator(s).
Individuals who are temporarily or permanently removed from the Forum shall not be eligible to receive reimbursement for any payments previously rendered.
The owners and/or moderators of the Forum accept no responsibility for material posted by members, including, but not limited to, the accuracy, completeness, or relevance of such material.
All material published within the Forum reflects solely the opinions of its respective author and should not be interpreted as representing the beliefs or positions of the owners and/or moderators.
Members who wish to cancel their membership should send an email to [email protected] clearly expressing their intention to cancel. Once an administrator processes the request, the member shall no longer possess access to the Forum, nor to any of its related content or functions. To ensure the request is processed before the next membership payment is charged to their account, members should email [email protected] at least 5 business days in advance.
Members acknowledge that no refunds, whether partial or full, shall be issued for any payments collected, should a cancellation request be submitted after the most recent payment date. At no point, under any condition, are pro rata refunds provided.
Should membership payments fail to be collected, the corresponding access privileges will regrettably be withdrawn. These privileges shall be restored once the required payment is received and the outstanding balance has been resolved in full. Members who repeatedly fail to make payment will have their account permanently disabled.
The Forum operates in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Should you find yourself in need of clarification regarding any aspect of these Terms, you may direct your enquiry to an administrator via the following address:Â [email protected]Â .
