Welcome to FlexibilityResearch.com, a platform dedicated to sharing the newest findings in the science of flexibility straight from the cutting edge of clinical research.

My name is Dan Van Zandt. I'm a researcher, educator, and coach with multiple academic degrees in biomechanics, cell biology, biological physics, and exercise science. I have dedicated more than 25 years to teaching the science of flexibility to thousands of individuals across the globe. You can find more information about me here.

My teaching is based on my Unified Model of Flexibility.ย The science of flexibility includes both physical (biomechanical, biochemical, and neurophysiological) and psychological (cognitive, emotional, and behavioural) aspects, which all form the foundation for physical flexibility. My method is deeply rooted in critical thinking and a philosophical appreciation for the scientific method.

I'm also a lifelong artist and all the drawings you see on this website are my own. (Please don't use my artwork in your content without my prior permission.)

I offer a free newsletter that gives weekly updates on research, insights, and special benefits delivered straight to your inbox at no charge. You can receive it by signing up here.

For those wanting to go deeper, you can join the Flexibility Research Membership, which offers an exclusive online area filled to the brim with detailed research reviews, articles, webinars, training tips, and more.
