Fundamentals of Flexibility Webinar

In this 90-minute video workshop, world-renowned flexibility researcher and educator Dan Van Zandt will give you an overview of his Biomechanical Model of Flexibility®, which was the very first framework to examine flexibility through the lens of physics.

During the workshop, you will learn why the "active and passive" model of range of motion is inadequate to fully explain what happens at joints during movement and why humans evolved to sense other types of ROM, which are often ignored by the majority of the health and fitness industry.

You will learn why the industry's fascination with "mobility" is built upon a misunderstanding of the original concept behind the word, why the typical mobility model is a recent flawed invention, and how science defines mobility (and stability) as emergent properties.

You will learn why so many flexibility training systems neglect velocity and some factors you need to consider when developing it.

Dan will also dispel many of the common myths surrounding static stretching, which continue to get perpetuated by some of the loudest voices on social media.

The Flexibility Research philosophy is that you should not pay to learn the same information twice. This workshop is a one-time purchase; you get lifetime access to the video, and you can view it as many times as you want, at your own pace.

You can also participate in a 60-minute live question and answer session hosted over Zoom, held at various dates and times you can choose to attend.

Furthermore, you will receive an invite to join the private Flexibility Research Forum, where you will be able to network with like-minded, knowledge-seeking individuals from around the world.

Access to the webinar opens on December 5.
